Third year is a very important stage of psychological and physical development of a child. A body grows, nervous system strengthens and coordination improves. It is a beginning of self-perception and independence.

Main activity for children of this age is playing with different objects and communication in the form of a game. A vocabulary of a child grows. Feelings towards others are complicated – love, affection, compassion, sympathy. New feelings, connected with activities, arise: pleasure, pride for success, disappointment because of failure, joy of approval. Self-esteem is grounded on the basis of these feelings.
